My name is Janice Gault. I was born in Quakertown, PA. After graduating high school I studied
art at Bucks County Community College and transferred to Pratt Institute. I graduated from Pratt Institute, Brooklyn, NY with a B.F.A. (bachelors degree in Fine Arts). My major course of study was painting and photography.
After graduating college I worked in Washington, DC, where I met my husband. We moved to
Seattle for our honeymoon. We lived there for two years and then came back east. In
1995 I returned to school for Art Education at Bowie State University and I also received continuing education credits
at the Unversity of the Arts. I have been teaching middle school art since 1997. During this time my husband and
I had a daughter (a teen now) and I have been thoroughly enjoying the experience of raising
this beautiful girl.
Besides my husband and daughter I have two cats, two dogs and two horses. Hopefully by 2009 we will
also have some chickens!
